Project: Laboratory information system management

KDE Group implemented a large-scale pharmaceutical development project that was implemented with LabWare LIMS system. The project included process design, requirements analysis and development. The main challenge in this project was a significant improvement in environmental monitoring. The development phase included thousands of lines of code written in fourth-generation programming language.

The result achieved was the ability to implement environmental monitoring and to comply with regulatory requirements.

An important phase if the project included connecting and integrating devices and instruments in the system through the special LabWare LIMS module , labStation. This requires special knowledge and expertise in Parsing methods and system programming. Connecting and integrating instruments enables users to focus the attention to other tasks and assurance that the data output from the instrument is correct.

Another phase in the project was expanding and completing the process of water testing in the laboratories. This will help the project to comply with stringent pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

The project included process design, building the database schema, requirements analysis and writing the code including GUI. This is a unique project that puts the emphasis on quality assurance of care in medical institutions. The project was deployed on the web infrastructure using MsSQL database and php.
